Deanna Ransom is an anointed Evangelist and award winning Gospel Recording Artist. However, her greatest joy is that
she is saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and loves and serves the Lord with all her heart and soul. As an artist, songwriter
and arranger, she expresses her love for God and her heart toward him as well as his for her and all people through song
. With the heart of a true worshiper, her desire to see lives forever changed by the anointing and power of God by ushering in his holy presence is realized every time she
opens her mouth with praise in song.
Deanna has been singing since the age of five and is anointed and blessed with the ability to stand before
any crowd and capture their heart and attention and ultimately bring them into the very presence of God.
Her warmth and inviting personality makes you feel like she is your friend with whom your hanging out
with enjoying a musical experience like no other. There is no one more vibrant on stage! Audiences of all
sizes, races, and age groups agree that seeing Deanna in concert is an experience everyone should
have! As stated by Brian Austin Whitney founder of Just Plain Folks after Deanna performed at the Just
Plain Folks Road Show Tour in Philadelphia, PA: "We've never had a performance like that! No one dared
move for fear of missing something and a total standing ovation and it was Gospel!" This was done at a
packed house with only two other inspirational performances for the entire event!
Deanna's solo debut release entitled
Never Say Never features such tracks as: "Rise Sister" an uplifting duet with the Ms. Melba Moore heralded as the new women's anthem, "You Bring Me Joy" which is also
featured on the Bump This compilation CD released into stores nationwide in August 2004,
"Hallelujah" a gospel dance tune full of life and vibrancy, and the title track "Never Say Never"
which won Deanna the 2004 Tiffany Gospel Award for Outstanding Artist of the Year Female.
Deanna was also featured on the Christmas compilation project released during this recent holiday season entitled,
Holiday Soul. Ms. Ransom also did a special guest appearance on new artist Fulfilled Prophecy's CD For God I'll Live, For God I'll Die on the track entitled "I'll Get There"
which was released in March of 2005, and did a guest appearance on the Glenn Jones CD
"Feels Good" on the track I'll Always Be Here. Deanna is also currently recording her Sophomore CD which is slated for release 2006.
Ms. Ransom has shared stages with Yolanda Adams, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Allen & Allen, and Rev. Timothy
Wright to name a few. Deanna is also a businesswoman, and mother. She is a graduate of both Camden
County College and Rowan University. A native of Southern New Jersey, she has traveled extensively
spreading faith, love, encouragement, and if possible assistance to as many as will receive.
She is also the Founder and Director of the
Virtuous Women of Destiny Women's Ministry. Virtuous Women of Destiny, is designed to push women past all the hindrances and obstacles the
enemy, self, or others has brought into the lives of God's daughters, enabling them to be the women that
God intended for them to be. This is done by supporting and pushing women into their proper place in
Christ and into their divine destiny by practical biblical teaching, prayer, support, real life study, application,
and assistance. This keeps her busy as a speaker and workshop teacher. As a young woman,
Deanna's prayer is that her life and not just the words of her mouth, is an example that you can be young,
live for God, and fulfill dreams which are His destinies and purposes for our lives.
