It takes a sincere desire to passionately usher in the presence of God in a way that truly impacts lives. Syncere Praze has that ability.  " The word of God is the center of our ministry. God gives the heart a voice to sound its joy and calls it music. Music is instrumental in our worship and it helps us to connect with the Spirit of God and respond to the truth of His Word  "Our desire is to encourage people to respond in faith to God's love," says  Jaymes Hodges.

An amalgamation of expressive lyrics with gratifying emotion, Syncere Praze reaches their audiences with a clear understanding of the gospel and a real aspiration to see lives changed by the touch of Jesus Christ.

The nucleus of the group is Jaymes Hodges. An ordained minister and pastor. Jaymes has been singing since the tender age of seven and since has ministered the gospel message in song and spoken word in churches and on stage for many years. He is senior pastor at Eternal Life Family Worship Center in Norfolk Virginia. After a few years away from the music scene, Jaymes decided it was time to put together another album. To accomplish this he enlisted the help of Tesa Jones, Dawn Piper, and Nicole Johnson. All singing lead and back vocals on their new CD entitled "Intimate Praise". With diverse backgrounds each member of the group brings their own flavor and experience to the project. Once they began to sing and interpret the songs that Jaymes wrote for the album he saw their sincerity in giving God praise, so it seemed appropriate to name the group Sincere Praise spelled "Syncere Praze"

Not only an accomplished singer, Jaymes is an emerging writer with much to say about life and the situations we face every day. He's also a producer. He has three previous releases to his credit. Cornerstones, A Perfect Love, and Walk By Faith all of which are songs of faith and encouragement. Syncere Praze has shared the stage with such notables as Richard Smallwood, Wayman Tisdale, God's Property, Phil Driscol, Clifton Davis, Ben Tankard and the Clark Sisters.
