TRAMA BIOGRAPHY
(Pronounced Trauma)

Growing up in QUEENS, NEW YORK this half AMERICAN half TRINIDADIAN M.C. named TRAMA has been writing and producing since the age of 13. Heavily influenced by Calypso, Reggae, and HIP HOP TRAMA infuses these musical styles in a unique blend to form his music.

Lyrically TRAMA's music is a reflection of his years as a street sponge soaking up stories, situations, people and life to create a cross-cultural musical roller coaster for listeners.

Being a HIP HOP artist as well as a consumer TRAMA tries to give the listeners something different with each song which is displayed in his full length LP's "TRAMA-SUTRA" and "TRAMAGNUM".

"TRAMA-SUTRA" and "TRAMAGNUM" as only TRAMA could put it "IT'S BASICALLY ME CUTTING MY ARM AND LETTING MY BLOOD FLOW INTO THE PAPER, PERIOD."

The albums reveals TRAMA's versatile flow as in the high energy song's "WHAT" and "PACK IT UP" to the comical "SUPA-DUPA" to the rapper relationships inspired "DON'T BE JEALOUS."

Beside TRAMA's crew the TRAM-UNIT TRAMA has worked with industry heavyweights as SADAT X of the legendary BRAND NUBIAN, TRAGEDY KHADAFI of CAPONE-N-NOREAGA fame and NATURE a member of NAS's crew THE FIRM to name a few.

TRAMA has also performed everywhere from the PALADIUM and THE ARK in New York City to Opening for the X-ECUTIONERS, YING TWINS, PROOF of D12 and JIN in Minnesota to opening for TECH N9NE, Crime Mob and Lil' Flip all over Iowa all the way to sharing the stage with HOUSTON at THE KNITTING FACTORY in Los Angeles.

To call him a rapper is an understatement, this artist writes landscapes and creates masterpieces with lyrical insight and wit. TRAMA's music crosses barriers and elevates the craft of HIP HOP music as did RAKIM and RUN DMC in the 80's and NAS, TUPAC and B.I.G in the 90's.

HIP HOP need not look any longer for it's Jedi Knight enter TRAMA.
