ONE DAY LEFT combines influences and musical talents by blending rock, metal and hard-core with hip-hop and rap. In early 2002 Alkatraz, the "Home" grown street MC
from Newark wanted to expand his musical threshold, past the DAT players and electronic beats of the hip-hop
world. Searching local musician ads he came across a band that was in need of a vocalist/frontman.
After a few initial meetings the sparks began to fly. Traz's streetwise style and hook-orientated vocals complimented the energetic, powerful yet moody instrumentals.
O.D.L. now a regular at world famous CBGB's in NYC played the opening night of M.E.A.N.Y. fest,
which was held at NYC's best-known rock venue. Packed with over 300 people One Day Left tore up the
stage and left everybody wanting more. With that impressive performance ONE DAY LEFT was announced as one of the 4 finalists for the 2003 M.E.A.N.Y Fest Finals.
December 30 th 2003, ONE DAY LEFT won the MEANY Fest finals at CBGB's.....Cb's was once again
packed with 350 people and O.D.L. blew up the stage and was awarded the top prize for the 2003 MEANY Fest.
